#123 – Easycheckbox not working in product

  Hello, I want to add easycheckbox in my new products, but when I choose the custom field nothing happens.

I checked my console and I don't have any javascript errors. Can I send you the admin access?

Easycheckbox is cart-variant plug-in. So, when you create plug-in, you need to set "cart attribute" to yes, "cart input" to yes and set "layout position" to "addtocart". This is for VM3. For VM2 there is only "cart attribute" which needs to be yes.

If this won't help, send me admin access to info@sm-planet.net and I'll check.

Well, I don't understand your problem. I got your access information, I checked your back-end and front-end.

Product I checked: Arreglo de girasoles

I has 2 easycheckboxes. When I checked checkboxes, price changed as expected. I added it to cart and I can see information about selection in cart, also price is right.

So you will need to explain me more about the issue, cause I don't see it. Tell me what exactly is wrong and where can I see it. Which customfield, which product etc.

Sorry for late reply. I haven't understand the issue, but now I do.

If you check your page, for example:
http://www.arreglosfloralesdf.mx/administrator/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=product&task=edit&virtuemart_product_id=108

You'll see that there is written on top "edit".

So, somewhere someone put code to echo or print_r vm task.

You don't get customfield because json fails:
http://www.arreglosfloralesdf.mx/administrator/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=product&task=getData&format=json&virtuemart_product_id=108&type=fields&id=1&row=1

You can see that there is "getData" at begining (vm task inside url), so JSON is not correct and app fails.


But why this happens - well, I cannot tell you that. Someone played with VM or plug-ins. I'm almost possitive this is not because of Easycheckbox. You can disable it but there is still an issue.

You'll need to think who was changing the code and where. Or what did you install that would influence on VM.
